Family Fun Day

2nd Annual Family Fun Day. Mark your calendars for June 21st as La Roca Venue in Osage Beach transforms into a hub of outdoor adventure and family-friendly entertainment. June is Great Outdoors Month, and Branches for the Lake invites the community to celebrate by joining them for their second annual Family Fun Day. This event aims to encourage kids of all ages to unplug and explore the beauty of the outdoors. Activities will run from 5-8 p.m. and will feature a wide array of options designed to get everyone moving and reconnecting. Hang up your phones and enjoy a day full of kids’ games, music, food, outdoor yoga, face painting, planting flowers, vendor booths, painting projects, and other entertainment.

The event begins at 4 p.m. with a yoga class, open to all ages and abilities. No cost and no equipment is needed; just show up on time and join in the courtyard. From 5-8 p.m. there will be games and activities, affordable hot dogs/burgers and other concessions for sale, booths/vendors on site, craft projects offered for the kids to take home, and free goodie bags to the first 100 attendees. A talent showcase is planned to show off other activities kids can get involved in at the Lake: dance centers, martial arts, etc. A glow party is planned for sunset to celebrate the Summer Solstice. Drinks and dancing and food will continue to be open throughout the night. A raffle bucket fundraiser will be held offering many local gift baskets and gift certificates. Vendors are welcome. Missouri Symphony Patriotic Pops Concert

The annual Missouri Symphony Orchestra concert is coming back to Camdenton on July 1st this year with a fun concert. The Camdenton R-3 school district is working with the Lake Arts Council to present this concert in the beautiful RC Worthan Auditorium at Camdenton High School. This concert will appeal to people of all ages and musical tastes. This concert is the premier event for the Lake Arts Council. Funds from this concert are used to support the Lake Arts Council in providing additional events like the Variety Showcase in April that features local talent, and art show events like the Spring Art Show, Student Art Quest for area students and Photo Quest for local photographers. Tickets are $35 for preferred seating (first 5 rows), $30 for adults, free for children and students K-12. Ozarks International Raceway is hosting the Mustang Cup Series Race July 4-6, 2025. This is a groundbreaking entry-level racing platform started in the spring of 2025, which bridges the gap between Ford Performance Driving Experiences and the Mustang Challenge. The Mustang Cup offers a professionally organized, club-level racing environment for novice and hobby racers to develop the fundamentals of organized racing on private USAC operated race weekends, alongside other USAC series and events.

This new series debuted in the spring of 2025, acts as a starting point in the Ford Performance sports car racing pyramid for novice racers. Along with the Mustang Cup series race, Heartland Vintage Racing will be on-hand racing their vintage cars. Based out of Kansas City and St. Louis, they have members from all over the Midwest. Their members own and race everything from Elvas, Shelbys, classic open-wheel formula cars, full-fender historic Trans-Am cars, and everything in between.

The 19th annual NASA Championships will take place Sept. 4-7 at Ozarks International Raceway in Gravois Mills, Missouri. Launched in 2006, the NASA Championships is one of the marquee events of the National Auto Sport Association. The Championship event provides NASA racers around the country the definitive platform for showcasing their driving talent, their attention to detail and their devotion to the sport. Only when all three of those elements come together can they hope to have a shot at being crowned a NASA National Champion. To become a NASA Champion, everything must come together to conquer the very best amateur racing drivers in the country. Error-free driving is a must. Exceptional preparation is key, and a bit of good luck certainly helps. To give competitors across the country the opportunity to compete at the highest level of amateur motorsports, the NASA Championships moves each year to a different track.
